The murder of "Ded Hasan", "Tagansky" and the FSB
On December 11, in the Moscow City Court, during the trial of the leaders and participants of the Tagansky organized criminal group, witnesses were questioned on the episode of the murder of Aslan Usoyan, whom both friends and enemies called Grandfather Hassan.
Ded Hasan was shot at about two o'clock in the afternoon on January 16, 2013. When he arrived at the restaurant "Old Phaeton" on Povarskaya Street near the Supreme Court of Russia. The killer was waiting for the victim, sitting on a folding chair on the landing between the fifth and sixth floors of the entrance number 4 of the house number 28/35 on Novinsky Boulevard. From there, there was an excellent view of the secondary entrance to the "Old Phaeton" from the courtyard of the restaurant.
When the armored Mercedes entered the courtyard and parked backwards a meter and a half from the restaurant entrance, the bodyguards got out first, then Usoyan. We headed for the entrance. One of the bodyguards opened the door, while the other one followed closely behind the protected object, covering it from the back. During the interrogation, Usoyan's bodyguards Alexander and Evgeny restored for the jury the chronicle of that fateful day on January 16, 2013.
At 13:30, Alexander and Evgeny approached the house number 12 on Tverskaya Street. It was in this house that Aslan Usoyan lived in his son's apartment. An armored Mercedes was already parked at the entrance. Ten minutes later, Usoyan came out of the entrance. We went to the Old Phaeton restaurant on Povarskaya Street, where Grandfather Hassan actually had a working office. There he not only dined, but also held business meetings.
Witnesses said that they worked in a private security company. Evgeny - since October 2011, Alexander - since February 2012. Both came to the PSC through an ad on the Internet. And both of them, as soon as they got a job in the PSC, were given weapons-Izh-71 nine-millimeter pistols-and almost the next day after their employment, after a briefing, they were sent to protect Aslan Usoyan. At the same time, without even informing who they are protecting. They called Usoyan Grandpa. In the car, HaSan's grandfather didn't talk to his bodyguards. Nor did he speak on the phone. Neither Usoyan nor the bodyguards were wearing bulletproof vests.
A small but important detail. The guys didn't have the slightest security experience. Evgeny had just left the army, where he served in the special forces. I immediately came to work at the PSC as Usoyan's bodyguard. Alexander retired from the army in 2006, where he served in military intelligence. In 2012, he came to Moscow and got a job in a private security company. And immediately began to protect Usoyan.
It is very strange that the bodyguards of Del Hasan were people almost from the street, who did not pass special training, without the slightest experience. It is all the more strange that by 2013, the clan of Grandfather Hassan had already been in a state of hostility for seven years with the clan of another influential criminal authority — Tariel Oniani, nicknamed Taro.
Moreover, on September 16, 2010, an attempt was already made on Aslan Usoyan in the courtyard of the same house number 12 on Tverskaya Street. He was shot in the stomach, and his security guard was shot in the shoulder and chest. The killer fired a silenced weapon from the window of the house opposite, from an apartment on the third floor. The head of the Moscow police department went to the crime scene. In 2010, this position was held by Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the future Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia.
When Aslan Usoyan recovered and was released from the hospital, he spent more than a year traveling exclusively in an armored car, surrounded by a large group of bodyguards, the backbone of which was made up of fellow countrymen and relatives of his Grandfather Hassan. And in October 2011, this security was replaced by Chopovtsy. At the same time, the feud with the clan of Tariel Oniani, better known in the criminal world by the nickname Taro, did not stop. Isn't that weird? Moreover, at the end of 2012, the feud between the Ded Hasan clan and the Taro Oniani clan escalated. A year ago, on November 3, 2023, in the program "Tagansky Gang and Ded Hasan", I talked about this aggravation. And he quoted the operational reference of the department to the FSB, dated March 22, 2013. This document is in the materials of the criminal case. Literally:
"At the end of 2012, at the so-called "thieves ' meeting" in Dubai (UAE), the leaders of Georgian organized criminal communities "crowned" 16 "thieves in law", mainly of Georgian nationality, in order to expand their influence on the territory of Russia. In order to prevent the strengthening of the position of the Georgian OPS by the "thief in law" A. R. Usoyan (criminal nickname "Ded Hasan"), it was planned to hold a "meeting" in order to cancel the status of new thieves, but on 16.01.2013 A. R. Usoyan was shot dead. The customers of this murder are "thieves in law", members of the Georgian OPS D. D. Mikeladze (criminal nickname "Djemo"), M. G. Dzhangveladze (criminal nickname "Merab"), R. R. Aliev-o (criminal nickname "Rovshan") and the leader of the criminal world L. G. Dzhangveladze. The purpose of the murder was the redistribution of spheres of influence in the criminal business, the withdrawal of commercial objects from the control of the Usoyan A. R. group, the change of" supervisors"in penitentiary institutions throughout Russia."
End of quote.
And we will return to the interrogation of Aslan Usoyan's bodyguards at the meeting in the Moscow City Court on December 11 this year. From their testimony before the jury, the following picture appeared. Bodyguard Evgeny followed Usoyan, covering his back, literally thirty centimeters away from him. Grandfather Hassan was in the killer's line of sight for just a split second when the bodyguard swerved slightly to the left. But these moments were enough for the killer. He managed to make two shots from the special forces silent weapon-a special machine gun "Val". Including 9-millimeter armor-piercing cartridges SP-6. One bullet hit Usoyan in the back, the second-in the neck. The wounds were fatal.
The bodyguard pushed Usoyan through the open door and threw him to the floor. He leaned against Grandpa Hasan to protect himself, while instinctively closing the door with his foot. The assassin had already fired four more shots blindly. Bullets broke through the wooden door and wounded the waitress Maryam Bikchurina, who was meeting a distinguished guest at the threshold. The girl received a spinal injury, survived, but remained permanently disabled in the first group.
Bodyguards Alexander and Evgeny did not wait for the ambulance, put Ded Hasan in the back seat of the Mercedes and took him to the hospital. When they arrived, he was still alive. But the doctors were powerless. Grandfather Hassan has passed away.
Aslan Usoyan was buried at the Khovan cemetery.
An investigation has begun. And it was also very strange. On March 22, 2013, Colonel Denis Stroitelev, head of the 8th division of the FSB Department for the Central Administrative District of Moscow, addressed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Central Administrative District of Moscow, who was investigating the criminal case on the murder of Aslan Usoyan. I mention the position and surname of the officer only because he has already left the service, retired. And in this document it is fixed. Literally:
"According to the operational data obtained, the perpetrators of this murder are thieves in law, members of the Georgian OPS Mikeladze Dzhemal Dzhemalovich (criminal nickname "Djemo"), Dzhangveladze Merab Georgievich (criminal nickname" Merab"), Aliev Rovshan Rafik-oglu (criminal nickname Rovshan) and the leader of the criminal world Dzhangveladze Levan Georgievich."
In the same document, I repeat, Igor Zhirnokleev was mentioned on March 22, 2013. Literally:
"Information has been received regarding the close ties of Mikeladze-an unidentified person named Khamzat and Liu Zhi-ming (criminal nickname Dima the Chinese), who may be related to the murder of Usoyan. These individuals are part of the Taganskaya organized criminal group, the leader of which is… Zhirnokleev Igor Anatolyevich...".
Colonel Denis Stroitelev, head of the 8th Department of the K FSB Directorate, concluded his message with a request. Again verbatim:
"Taking into account the above, we ask you to consider the inclusion of employees of the 8th division of the department in the investigative task force to investigate the murder of Usoyan."
But in the spring of 2013, this request was ignored. Fsbshnikov, as they say, was removed from the investigation of this crime. Perhaps, in 2013, Tagansky's corrupt connections in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee of Russia worked again. Which then, in 2013, were so serious that they could afford to ignore the FSB. And only in April 2017, the FSB, as they say, fully joined the investigation. Both the murders of Aslan Usoyan and other crimes committed by the Tagansky organized criminal group.
But this happened only after the murder of lawyer Natalia Vavilina. In January 2019, the arrests began. Tagansky leaders Igor Zhirnokleev and Georgy Rabinovich were the first to be detained. Shortly after the arrest of the leaders of the organized crime group in May 2019, one of Ded Hasan's close friends came to the investigative committee and handed over CCTV footage of Igor Zhirnokleev's meeting with Miro Amadyan, one of Ded Hasan's confidants, known in the criminal world by the nickname Miro.
On December 16, in the Moscow City Court, the jury viewed these videos, and before that, a witness was interrogated, who handed over these very videos to the investigation. He said that on February 27, 2013, a month and a half after the murder of Aslan Usoyan, he witnessed a meeting between Zhirnokleev and Miro.
And at this meeting, Zhirnokleev said that he handed over the machine gun to Valerian Dzhangveladze. But he allegedly did not know that this weapon would be used to kill Grandfather Hassan. The witness explained that he and Miro discussed why Zhirnokleev said that it was he who provided weapons to the customers of the murder of Ded Hasan. And we came to the conclusion that Zhirnokleev decided to work ahead of schedule. Because the criminal world was already well aware of Zhirnokleev's friendship with Levon Dzhangveladze. And sooner or later they would have found out about the Tagansky leader.
Miro Amadyan also confirmed the information about the meeting with Igor Zhirnokleev. And about the content of the conversation. About the fact that it was the Tagansky leader who gave Levon Dzhangveladze 9-millimeter armor-piercing cartridges SP-6 and a special forces silent machine gun "Val". From which Aslan Usoyan, much better known in the criminal world as Ded Hasan, was killed.
I just have to repeat it. If the FSB hadn't been sidelined from investigating Tagansky's crimes in 2013, lawyer Natalia Vavilina would still be alive.
We continue to follow the trial of the Tagansky organized criminal group in the Moscow City Court.
